A neck reset, refret, and new nut and bridge were also added, optimizing its playability and intonation. Structural repairs include the stabilization of side and back cracks with cleats—15 cleats along the treble side, 7 on the bass side upper bout, and 12 along the back treble side lower bout—reinforcing the guitar’s original construction and preventing future damage.
