From Pagelli: "C. F. Martin Guitars us asked us a while ago if we could make a special edition guitar for them. After going deep into their history, we decided to make a guitar that combines their tradition with a new vision. Unfortunately, the financial person of the company stopped the project in the very last second. Our idea was to combine Martin's history with a forward-thinking building. So, we took the earliest guitar shapes of the 17/1800s as a base (as Martin did when they started) and implemented a modern construction. It features our TOPCUT (first introduced on our Stalder bass in 2005) for a better access and for a top that can vibrate freely over the whole length. The static is supported by a flying buttress as used by Rick Turner. Now we used this preparatory work to continue pursuing a dream that had been dormant in us for a long time: the implementation of the LES PETITES NAIVES SERIES. Inspired by the Art Brut movement, these instruments are based on a parlor guitar shape and will be available in a limited edition of nine guitars." Incudes OHSC.
