A model seldom produced in the modern day, the 12-fret join 00 shape produces a loud and warm tone that comes in a comfortable size. This example is a 1940 00-21, so it has Pre-War Martin in every sense. The 21 styling offers Brazilian Rosewood back and sides, but with a more understated tortoise binding and herringbone rosette and back strip. While we love white binding on 28's, 42's and 45's, there is something very tasteful about the combination on this one. This one is very structurally clean and possesses its original bridge plate. There is more information on its repair history in the Modifications/Repairs section. It would benefit from a neck reset in the future, but it's worth noting that this currently plays like a dream. Comes in Calton HSC
