This brand new Collings D1ATS is a powerhouse of a flattop guitar with simple, clean appointments, but upgrades under the hood. An Adirondack spruce top, Honduran mahogany back and sides, and traditional series bracing pattern make for a strong, clear voice with emphasis on the fundamental. Its modified v neck is of medium depth and the compound radius fretboard allows for a comfortable playing experience over the entirety of the neck. As always with Collings, the build quality is top notch and the satin finish is smooth and comfortable in the hand.
