The appeal doesn't end with the visual aesthetics, though. The combination of European spruce with that lovely flamed maple is an excellent choice for this small-bodied 00. Maple's brightness is balanced out by the spruce's clear, well-balanced tone. For fingerstyle, there's all the clarity and note separation you could want, but there's plenty of headroom for strumming with a flatpick, too.
