Martin's D-18E is an extremely rare example (~302 made in total of which an unknown number remains) and has become synonymous with Nirvana's legendary MTV Unplugged performance where Kurt Cobain donned his D-18E and rolled through stripped down versions of some of the band's most iconic songs. Years later, Cobain's guitar would sell for a staggering $6.01 million in 2020, furthering its legacy and historical value in pop culture history. This particular example sounds excellent and has been carefully restored by the team at CVG to make sure that this guitar is ready to be enjoyed for many years to come. It has undergone a neck reset and fret level, a bridge crack, string slot, and bridge plate repair, as well as side and back crack repairs; bringing the guitar up to spec for its next stage appearance. It's an iconic instrument in a lane all its own with the sound and playability to back up the famed reputation this model has garnered. Includes non-original vintage hard shell case.
