Rick Turner’s Model 1 has a distinctive look of its own, combining a compact solidbody design with the refined construction associated with Turner’s instruments. This 2016 example is finished in Natural, allowing the wood and clean lines of the body to remain the focus. The Model 1’s single-pickup layout keeps the controls simple while giving the guitar a direct, focused character. It’s a particularly interesting modern instrument from one of the more individual voices in American guitar building. Includes OHSC.
