This 1991 G&L ASAT is a genuinely serious working guitar, and it looks and feels the part. A single-cut body with the ASAT's signature curved scratchplate and kinked headstock, familiar Telecaster DNA reworked into something with its own distinct identity. Under the hood are G&L's proprietary MFD ceramic pickups, giving you that classic top-end chime but with real beef in the lower mids; fuller and rockier than a stock Tele, and more responsive when you push it into overdrive. The individual saddle bridge delivers precise intonation and adds its own bite to the tone, while the simple, no-nonsense control layout keeps it dependable on stage without any fussy quirks getting in the way. It's a genuine all-around workhorse guitar. Built solid, sounds huge, and plays as good as it looks, with a distinctive character that sets it apart from every other single-cut on the wall. And this one carries Leo Fender's own signature on the upper bout, a nice bit of history on top of an already excellent instrument. Includes HSC.
