The HD-28 has been a cornerstone of Martin’s dreadnought lineup for decades, combining a solid Spruce top with Rosewood back and sides and crisp herringbone appointments. This 1993 example has the familiar Natural finish and traditional dreadnought proportions, with the larger body giving it the projection and low-end presence players expect from an HD-28. The combination of forward-looking construction and classic Martin appointments makes this a versatile acoustic for everything from flatpicking to strumming. A ’90s HD-28 like this offers plenty of the character of a well-established Martin without straying from the formula that made the model so enduring. Includes non-original black hard shell case.
