This is a 1974 Univox Hi-Flier, Phase 3 (III) in 3-tone sunburst. Made in the Matsumoto Factory in Japan between 1974-1977. Has original working humbucker pickups. The Phase 3 model specifically is sought after because of its affiliation with Kurt Cobain as one of his main instruments early in his career. Nirvana's first album “Bleach” was written and recorded on this exact type of guitar. This guitar plays great, and all electronics work as they should. We gave the guitar some minor electronics repairs before putting it out for sale, touching up a few solder connections and replacing a couple of wires, but all other components are original. There is no trem arm with this instrument. It comes with a black Fender gig bag.
