This new 2026 Collings C-00 is a 14-fret parlor-size flattop short-scale guitar influenced by 1930s 00 models. That heritage shows in a drier, more fundamental voice than most modern acoustics, with a "honky, punchy midrange," woody thump, and strong note separation. Rosewood is used for both the fingerboard and bridge, and the 24 7/8" scale and lighter string tension make it comfortable to play and quick to respond. Collings builds the C-00 on a mahogany back, sides, and neck, and this one arrives with its original hardshell case. It's an excellent fit for fingerstyle, blues, and recording, or any player who wants a vintage-style voice from a new instrument. This guitar is NEW and includes an OHSC.
