Rumble Seat Music is happy to have this unique instrument back in the shop, as we purchased it from the original owner with help from Scott at Top Shelf Music roughly 27 years ago! The original owner was a banjo player and loved the look of the Gibson SG model, but didn't like the headstock. His solution was to request a Firebird style 6 in-line headstock, resulting in this one-of-a-kind Tenor guitar from 1964. Custom ordered to his specs from Gibson, this incredible guitar is unlike anything else we've seen. With a pair of original 4 pole piece patent sticker humbuckers and a factory Bigsby tailpiece, as well as the original hardshell case, photos and a letter from the original owner, this would be the crown jewel of any collection!
