This 1981 Gibson Les Paul Standard in Goldtop has the classic look, feel, and unmistakable tone that make these guitars so enduring. It delivers a rich, full-bodied voice with a warm midrange, singing sustain, and plenty of punch, equally at home with smooth, expressive leads or thick, driving rhythm tones. The Goldtop finish has developed honest wear and character over the years, including finish wear along the bass side of the lower bout, two finish-check lines running parallel to the pickups, and dings and scratches throughout. The neck and heel joint have previously been shaved and contoured, creating a modified profile that allows easier access to the higher frets. The bridge has been replaced by CVG, with the original bridge included in the case, and the guitar has been professionally set up by the team at CVG. A well-played vintage Les Paul with plenty of personality, a strong voice, and the unmistakable feel of a classic Gibson. Comes with Gibson hardshell case.
