The Collings Custom Craft 0003 is a 12-fret 000 designed with fingerstyle playing in mind, and this 2026 example is an especially unique build. It features a rare set of torrefied European Spruce Collings, paired with Cocobolo back and sides for a combination that offers a deep, dry voice while retaining plenty of clarity and articulation. The top contrasts nicely with the figured Cocobolo, while the abalone rosette and grained ivoroid binding give the guitar a refined look without overdoing the ornamentation. The 12-fret body also adds some extra airiness and low-end response compared with a similar 14-fret guitar. It's a particularly special Custom Craft 0003 and a rare opportunity to own a Collings built around an exceptionally limited set of materials. Includes OHSC.
