Fans of Jimmy Page know that much of his early studio sound comes from a guitar just like this: 1959 Fender Telecaster with a top loader bridge. This example is an excellent show of why it was his axe of choice. Apart from an old body refinish and replacement of electronics in the control cavity, this one is pretty true to form. This one was bought at The Caldwell Music Co. in San Antonio, Texas in 1959 (as evidenced by the decal on the headstock) and comes from the family of the original owner. At one time, it was refinished from its factory blonde to a red color; it is now blonde again. It has its original frets and is freshly set-up! Comes in original Tweed hardshell case with ashtray cover, period leather strap and cable
