This 2024 Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition 70th Anniversary '54 Stratocaster Hardtail in Sunburst marks seven decades of the Stratocaster with a build modeled on the first-year guitar. Fender's anniversary spec calls for authentic first-year appointments, including 1954 body routing and contours, a two-piece select ash body, and a one-piece 5/4 quartersawn maple neck with a compound radius running from 7.25" to 9.5". Three Custom Shop hand-wound '54 Strat pickups with staggered poles and 1954-style wiring give it the early voice of the original. The hardtail bridge removes the tremolo for a more direct feel and steady tuning, and the neck plate is stamped "70th Anniversary 1954 2024 Stratocaster." It's a limited-edition Custom Shop piece that works as a player and as a keepsake of a milestone year. Includes COA and OHSC.
