1962 Gibson ES-345 in original cherry finish. This guitar is in very good condition. The Varitone circuit is intact and works well. The original "Y" cord that Gibson supplied with these guitars is in the guitar's case as is the receipt of sale from 1962. Did you know... when you plug into either a dual channel amp, or use two amps, the guitar's output (with the switch in the middle position) is summed? Yes, the output from both PAF pickups is sent to the amp(s) in full, making for a very interesting and robust tone. This guitar sounds great. It plays great despite the original frets being towards the end of their life cycle. The neck's very slim, think 1961 Gibson neck. The old guitar people used to call necks like this, "Speed necks." The guitar comes in its original black hardshell case. In the case pocket you find the receipt of sale and the original stereo patch cable.
