This DG-335 is the very first prototype built for Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl in 2007 when he began his partnership with Gibson. It was finished in Metallic Gold and Dave spent some time with it before deciding he wanted the guitar finished in Pelham Blue and ultimately returning this prototype. It comes to us from the original builder who received the guitar when the Gibson Memphis Factory closed down. Incredible provenance aside, it's a great semi-hollow Gibson with a nice chunky neck. It's loaded with Burstbucker Pro pickups for powerful PAF tone. Cosmetically, it remains in like new condition seemingly unplayed. Includes OHSC (Custom Shop case with a print of Dave's signature) and original factory paperwork.
