This 1960 Gibson ES-345 has been thoughtfully adapted over the years while retaining the look and feel that make early dot-neck examples so appealing. The Varitone circuit has been removed in favor of a simplified control layout with modern CTS pots and Orange Drop capacitors, creating a more direct signal path, while additional updates include replacement tuners, nut, tailpiece, and pickguard. At some point the pickup covers were removed, but have been reinstalled, though the guitar still carries the unmistakable character of an early ES-series semi-hollow. Cosmetically, the body and neck remain clean, with only slight water damage visible on the face of the headstock standing out among otherwise well-preserved finish. Housed in a modern This ES-345 is an honest, player-oriented example that balances early-1960 Gibson construction with practical updates made over decades of use. Includes Gator deluxe hard shell case.
