The 1969 Gibson Byrdland is one of Gibson’s most distinctive thinline archtops, pairing a fully hollow body with a short 23 1/2" scale and a slim, comfortable neck. Its Sunburst finish highlights the elegant Florentine cutaway and multi-ply binding, while the dual Patent No. humbuckers provide the full, warm character expected from a Byrdland. The compact body and short scale make this a particularly comfortable example of Gibson’s high-end electric archtop design. This guitar captures the refined look and feel of a late-’60s Byrdland with plenty of classic Gibson character. Cosmetically, it remains in good condition with some notable body wear. Includes 60s Gibson hard shell case.
