The 1983 Gibson Flying V is a sharp example of Gibson’s return to one of its most recognizable designs during the early ’80s. By this point, the V had settled into the Gibson catalog as a distinct alternative to the company’s more traditional solidbody designs, and the ’80s examples have their own place in the model’s history.
