This Gibson ES-335 began life in 1963 and returned to Gibson in 1968 for a factory re-neck, giving the guitar a particularly interesting blend of early- and late-’60s details. The Cherry finish remains paired with the familiar semi-hollow body and twin-humbucker layout, while the electronics are all from 1968; the neck pickup has since been rewound. A Bigsby was previously installed and has been removed, with the mounting holes plugged and touched up, and the guitar now carries an aftermarket tailpiece. It has also received a new nut and refret, making this a well-maintained ES-335 with some history behind it. The light playing wear and very good overall condition leave the guitar presenting nicely while still showing some of its age. Includes 90s Gibson hard shell case.
